Daytona Sustains Miller and Werner as Season-Leaders with Six Podium Finishes

Qualifying in the fifth spot was Bryce Miller in the #87 Marquis Jet/IPC/Paul Miller Porsche/Recaro Porsche 997 GT3. Coming into Daytona, Bryce and his teammate Dirk Werner have had a season-leading five podium finishes.
In the race, Bryce had a solid start and kept in the thick of the battle through the early running. Bryce drove a fantastic race. Starting in the fifth spot, he methodically worked his way up and moved into the third position. Bryce drove flawlessly and handed the car over to Dirk during a green flag stop to bring it home. The stop dropped the #87 to fifth, but Dirk kept the hammer down and like his teammate, moved into third place. As the race came to a close, Dirk set the race’s fastest lap and brought the #87 home in third for the duo’s sixth podium of the season, making the teammates 3rd overall.
