Bryce Miller Joins TRG

Dated: September 27, 2007

Petaluma, CA — September 27, 2007 – Team TRG announced today that it has signed 2007 Rolex GT Champion co-driver Bryce Miller in a lead driving role for the team for the 2008 season. He will be piloting the TRG no. 66 Marquis Jet Porsche GT3, taking over the recently vacated seat of Andy Lally.

Bryce Miller finished 3rd in the GT driver’s chase in 2007, narrowly missing the championship due to being in a different car at the first race of the season. He also took 2nd place in the rookie of the year standings in the Rolex Grand American GT Road Racing series. He had an outstanding 10 of 13 podium finishes as well as a victory at Virginia International Raceway.

Bryce’s accomplishments include the 2006 IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Championship with an impressive 5 podium finishes and 3 pole positions including the Road Atlanta Trifecta (pole, win and fastest lap).

Bryce’s early racing career started at age seven when he began racing Karts and saw him crowned the U.S Grand National Karting Champion in 1992. In 1997 he finished 2nd place in the Canadian National Karting Championship and in 1999 was named Rookie of the Year in the Barber Dodge Series. In 1999 and 2000, Bryce competed in the highly competitive Formula 2000 series.

He took time out of his racing career to pursue a college education at the University of Vermont and graduated in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in history. During that time he continued testing in Trans-Am with Team Derhaag Motorsports, as well as ran formula Renault and Speed GT World Challenge cars.

“I am extremely happy to have Bryce as part of our TRG family for the 2008 season,” commented team owner Kevin Buckler. “I have watched him closely for over 2 years, and I have to say that he has done just an outstanding job in all aspects of his professional driver development. He is committed, experienced, fit & fast, and understands the position he is about to assume with our team. With Andy moving on to our NASCAR program and Bryce occupying the lead role in our car 66—he will definitely have some big shoes to fill, but I know he is going to do great. We are all behind him 100%.”

“With Andy Lally focusing more on his NASCAR career, this opportunity has become available in TRG’s GT program,” commented Bryce Miller. “ I’m very excited and honored - Andy’s seat is a huge responsibility and I will have the necessary support at TRG to seriously contend for a Championship in ‘08. TRG is a well established, proven organization having won numerous titles, and Kevin Buckler is a racer who understands team dynamics from a driver’s perspective. That is refreshing and encouraging for my driver development. I feel comfortable entrusting this important step of my career with them.”

Bryce will begin the 2008 campaign at the famed Rolex 24 at Daytona in a brand new 2008 Porsche GT3 with a strong driver lineup. TRG will be fielding a multi-car championship level GT team for 2008 with brand new Grand-Am spec GT3 cars direct from Weissach, Germany. The 2008 cars were specifically built for this series and will be competing against strong factory entries from a variety of manufacturers including Ferrari, BMW, Ford, Pontiac & Mazda.

Team owner Kevin Buckler had these final comments. “We are pleased to be representing Porsche again this year in a strong effort for 2008 in the Grand Am series. Our team will be fielding a very competitive multi-car program and I am delighted to kick off the 2008 season with this special driver announcement.”
