Sponsor Hospitality at Lime Rock

2008-05-26

ImageLakeville, CT (May 26, 2008) -- Sponsors of TRG driver, Bryce Miller gathered at the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series Lime Rock GT Classic 250 to watch their driver strive for a back to back podium at the track. Last year, Miller produced a full entertainment package for the guests on and off the racetrack by hosting hospitality and a hard 2:45 hour race battle which ended in a second place finish. The results generated a win-win production for both the sponsors and team.

The 200 guests of the No. 66 Marquis Jet Hospitality Tent enjoyed the private and exclusive amenities offered by the sponsors. Miller, co-driver Ted Ballou and team owner, Kevin Buckler entertained the crowd before the race with a press conference to enlighten race fans and non-race fans with answers to racing questions and topics. There were opportunities to buy new team race shirts by Salmon Cove, wine tasting by Adobe Road Wines, a chance to sit in Miller's 2007 Championship winning Porsche and a turn at the wheel of the No. 66 Marquis Jet Porsche around Lime Rock Park provided by Virtual GT's racing simulator.

Prior to the gates opening, Paul Miller Porsche hosted their first Porsche rally which brought them from the dealership to Lime Rock Park. Thirty plus Porsche's followed each other through the serene countryside to experience the ultimate drive for a Porsche enthusiast and to pump up the excitement for the race.

Despite early complications in the race which put the No. 66 car down a lap on the field, the team was able to fight back to a 10th place position and bring home the 2nd top spot for Porsche.

Thank you to Marquis Jet, Total Lubricants, Paul Miller Porsche and Sigma Phi Society for another great event.
